Sepenggal lirik yang gw comot dari Westlife yang bener2 bikin gw inspired banget. Satu kata, “dream”, tapi punya banyak makna di baliknya. Membuat kita harus berani untuk bermimpi. Dalam hal ini gw agak bingung juga dengan penggunaan kata “bermimpi”. Dalam bahasa Indonesia, kata bermimpi bukankah menunjukkan kata kerja intransitive? Yang berarti ga butuh obyek. Padahal kalau orang punya mimpi, itu artinya ada obyek yang diimpikan bukan? Tapi kurang pas juga kalau kita gunakan kata memimpi. Sense’y gemana gt. Tapi itulah yang lazim kita gunakan. But, what da hell with EYD. Kali ini gw ga pengen blajar bahasa Indonesia karna gw bukan penyair atau pujangga yang terikat oleh aturan2 rima dan syair atau kebakuan bahasa. Karna gw pengen bicara tentang “mimpi”.

Mimpi… What do U think?? Do U have a dream?

Mimpi terkadang indah, tapi belum tentu mimpi buruk adalah sebuah musibah. Apalagi mimpi basah, wuih, anugrah.. *hehe* Mimpi, dalam berbagai konteks dapat diterjemahkan. Tergantung dari sisi apa kita memaknai kata mimpi itu. Kata Andrea Hirata, sang penulis novel best seller Laskar Pelangi, ‘jangan takut untuk bermimpi’. Itu menunjukkan bahwa kita ga boleh takut untuk bermimpi. Tiap impian yang kita rajut adalah doa yang terpanjatkan. Apapun itu, tiap orang pasti memimpikan hal yang terbaik.

Kalo Raditya Dika bilang, “gantungkanlah mimpimu setinggi langit2 kamar,” gw ga sepenuhnya setuju. Let’s think! Klo di luar sana ada langit, knapa qta ga menggantungkan mimpi kita setinggi langit, kenapa ga kita gantungkan setinggi bintang? Ga da salahnya qta bermimpi setinggi langit2 kamar, mungkin agar mudah kita menjangkaunya. Ibaratnya cukup dengan tangga biasa pun kita dapat meraihnya. But remember, big dream need big effort. Yeah, mimpi yang besar membutuhkan usaha yang besar pula untuk meraihnya. Lagian, selagi bermimpi itu gratis, trus menggantungkan di bintang’nya pun ga perlu pake pesawat Apollo ataupun Columbia milik Amerika, knapa ga kita gantungkan mimpi kita setinggi2nya.

Tapi jangan mentang2 kita dah mimpi, trus kita terjebak dalam mimpi itu. I mean that kita ga boleh Cuma mimpi aja. Mimpi itu kan sesuatu yang ingin kita peroleh and raih. Jadi kalo qta gad a usaha buat mewujudkan mimpi2 itu, ya namanya ‘omong doang’ alias bulshit, percuma bin mubah. For example, seseorang mimpi pengen jadi konglomerat terkaya di kotanya. A great dream. Tapi kalo tiap hari dia kerjanya Cuma tidur and ga da effort buat mewujudkan smua itu, ya mati aja. Sama aja bo’ong. So, segala sesuatu tu butuh perjuangan bwt ngedapetinnya.

Begitu juga gw. Gw punya mimpi2 yang gw gantungin setinggi langit di angkasa sedalam samudera *ceile*

Gw pengen kuliah dengan lancer dgn IP yang trus menanjak *naek gunung kale*, gt juga ma karir organisasi gw tanpa ganggu jalannya kuliah gw, gw pengen nylesein kuliah gw dengan waktu yang sesingkat2nya and lulus dengan predikat cumlaude. Gw pengen dapet beasiswa bwt nerusin S2 gw ke Amerika. Gw pengen jadi guru bahasa Inggris yang up to date and disayang murid2nya, gw pengen jadi pengusaha di bidang art, gw pengen jadi book writer, gw pengen mewujudkan distro gw ndiri, gw pengen jadi wanita karir yang sukses, gw pengen punya kluarga yang happily ever after, gw pengen terjun di bidang social, gw pengen..gw pengen……. And masih buanyak bgt ke’pengen’an-ke’pengen’an gw yang ga sempet tercurhat’kan di sini.

Muluk2 ga sie?? But I don’t care. Ga da salahnya kan bermimpi, and jangan coba2 utk mematahkan mimpi gw. Karna itu artinya akan mematahkan semangat hidup gw. Gw ga peduli pa smua mimpi2 gw tu bakal terwujud, who care! But the most important thing of those all, adalah mimpi2 itu membuat gw hidup. Mimpi2 itu biking gw semangat dalam menjalani hidup gw, karna gw sadar klo gw punya bola yang harus gw giring ke gawang untuk mencetak goal. Nah, mimpi2 gw itulah goal gw. Sesuatu yang harus gw raih dan dapatkan. Mimpi2 itu yang biking gw berjuang, karna gw taw, klo hanya gw lah yang bisa memperjuangkan mimpi2 itu. Nobody will make me down. I’ll fight and defend.

semalem gw nonton 51th Grammy Award di salah satu TV swasta. emang sie bukan live show, but it doesnt matter. bwt gw yang gila musik, ajang yang satu ni emang ga bisa dilewatin, dimana para musi2 dunia berlaga di ajang yang bergengsi banget.

nah, d'story begin.. waktu radiohead manggung ngebawain single '15 steps' dari album in rainbow mereka, this is my first time lihat aksi panggung mereka. and guess what, gilee.. aksi panggung vokalisnya tuh mirip abiz ma aksi panggung vokalis salah satu band yang cukup melegenda di ranah musik tanah air si Armand Maulana.

gw bingung and takjub juga, gile ney,, gag mungkin kn klo band seKaliber Radiohead niru aksi panggung Gigi..

gw jadi mikir, pa mungkin aksi panggung si Armand Maulana ni terinspirasi dari aksi panggung si Thom Yorke ini?? who knows. cuz gw juga ga begitu ngerti ma Radiohead and juga ga begitu ngerti ma Armand Maulana, sang vokalis jebolan Gigi ini.
tapi,gw akui mereka ber2 tu keren abizz. boleh aja sie terinspirasi and menginspirasi satu sama laen, tapi ga brarti mzti ngejiplak kan.. gw yakin mereka punya sisi unik masing2.
